 EON Bank Group partners with Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC), the biggest player in the cinema entertainment industry in Malaysia, to launch GSC-EON Bank Visa credit card, the first-ever co-branded credit card that ties up with a cinema. The GSC-EON Bank Visa credit card offers numerous exclusive privileges and savings for customers wanting the ultimate movie experience at GSC. Speaking at the launch, EON Bank Group’s Head of Consumer Banking, Mr. Michael Lor explained that the GSC-EON Bank Visa credit card synergises the brand strengths of EON Bank, GSC and Visa. “It is more than just a credit card. It’s a lifestyle card that offers immense value to customers with double the advantage over generic credit cards. For every ticket purchase of above RM10, RM40 or RM50, customers will receive a discount of RM1, RM4 or RM5 off each ticket respectively. For tickets purchased below RM10, customers will receive RM0.50 discount from each normal adult ticket purchased. The main highlight of GSC-EON Bank Visa credit card benefit is the additional 50% discounts up to RM 100 and RM 60 ‘Bonus Value’ for each approved new-to-bank GSC-EON Bank Visa principal platinum and gold credit cardholder respectively. ‘Bonus Value’ is an accumulative amount stored in the GSC-EON Bank Visa credit card to be used for GSC movie ticket purchases nationwide.
